Foolish and Wise

A Bible story for kids from 1 Corinthians 1:18–31. Day 295 of 365.

Paul wrote a letter to the church in Corinth. Some people there thought being smart and fancy was the most important thing.

Paul said, “Some people think the message about Jesus dying on a cross sounds silly. But it's God's power!”

God often chooses people who seem small or weak to do His work. That way everyone knows it's God's power, not ours!

Key Verse

For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.1 Corinthians 1:25, ESV
