Jesus went to Peter's house. Peter's mother-in-law was sick in bed with a fever.
Jesus took her hand and helped her up, and the fever went away! She felt so good she started making dinner for everyone.
That night, the whole town came to the door, and Jesus healed many sick people. Early the next morning, while it was still dark, Jesus went off by Himself to pray.
