Jesus at the Door

A Bible story for kids from Revelation 3:14–22. Day 349 of 365.

Jesus had a message for a church in Laodicea. They thought they were rich and didn't need anything.

Jesus said, “You're not hot or cold, just lukewarm, like a glass of water that sat out too long. Yuck!”

But then Jesus said something wonderful: “Look! I'm standing at the door and knocking. If anyone opens the door, I will come in and eat with them, like friends!”

Key Verse

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.Revelation 3:20, ESV
