Joy in Hard Times

A Bible story for kids from James 1:2–12. Day 330 of 365.

James was Jesus' brother! At first he didn't believe in Jesus, but after Jesus rose again, he became a leader in the church.

James wrote, “When hard things happen, you can still have joy!”

Why? Because hard times help our faith grow stronger, like exercise makes our muscles stronger. And if you need wisdom, just ask God!

Key Verse

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.James 1:2-3, ESV
