Jesus had good friends named Mary, Martha, and their brother Lazarus.
Lazarus got very sick. The sisters sent a message: “Jesus, come quick!” But Jesus waited two more days. By the time He came, Lazarus had died.
Martha was so sad. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even if they die.” Martha said, “I believe you are the Son of God!”
