The people came close to the land God promised. Moses sent twelve spies to check it out.
They came back carrying a bunch of grapes so big it took two men to carry it! The land was full of good food.
But ten spies said, “The people there are giants! We can't win.” Only two, Joshua and Caleb, said, “God is with us. We can do it!”
