God planted a beautiful garden called Eden. It had yummy fruit trees and a sparkly river.
God put Adam in the garden to take care of it. Adam gave names to all the animals!
But Adam needed a friend who was just like him. So God made Eve. Now Adam and Eve could live and work together, and God was with them.
