After Joshua died, a new group of kids grew up. They didn't remember all the amazing things God had done.
They forgot God and started worshiping fake gods. Then their enemies came and made life hard.
The people cried out to God, and God sent leaders called judges to rescue them. But then they forgot again! It happened over and over.
