Naomi had an idea. Boaz was family, so he could take care of Ruth and Naomi.
Boaz agreed! He married Ruth, and they had a baby boy named Obed.
Naomi held the baby and was so happy. Guess what? Obed became King David's grandpa! And from that family, many years later, Jesus was born.
