Baby in a Basket

A Bible story for kids from Exodus 2:1–10. Day 30 of 365.

An Israelite mom had a baby boy. She hid him for three months so he would be safe.

When he got too big to hide, she made a basket that could float, put him inside, and set it in the tall grass by the river. His big sister Miriam watched.

Pharaoh's daughter found the basket. The baby cried, and she loved him! She named him Moses. God kept Moses safe.
