When Jesus was 12, His family went to Jerusalem for the Passover celebration.
On the way home, Mary and Joseph couldn't find Jesus! They searched for three days. Finally they found Him in God's temple, listening to the teachers and asking questions.
Jesus said, “Didn't you know I'd be in my Father's house?” Then He went home and obeyed His parents. He grew taller and wiser.
