An angel told Philip, “Go to the desert road!” Philip went right away.
He saw an important man from Ethiopia riding in a chariot, reading the book of Isaiah out loud. Philip ran up and asked, “Do you understand what you're reading?” The man said, “How can I, unless someone explains it?”
Philip hopped in and told him all about Jesus. The man believed! When they passed some water, he said, “Can I be baptized?” Philip baptized him, and he went home full of joy!
