Paul had a dream of a man asking, “Come help us!” So Paul and his friends sailed to a place called Philippi.
On the day of rest, they went down to the river, where some women met to pray. One of them was Lydia. She sold beautiful purple cloth.
Lydia listened to Paul, and God opened her heart! She believed in Jesus and was baptized with her family. Then she invited Paul to stay at her house.
