Paul in Athens

A Bible story for kids from Acts 17:16–34. Day 279 of 365.

Paul went to the city of Athens. It was full of statues of fake gods! There was even an altar that said, “To an unknown god.”

Paul told the people, “Let me tell you about the God you don't know! He made the world and everything in it. He gives everyone life and breath.”

“God is not far from any of us. He wants us to find Him!” Some people laughed, but others believed in Jesus.

Key Verse

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man.Acts 17:24, ESV
